Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy (“Cookie Policy“) explains how Spekit Inc. (“Spekit”) uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and use data, and how you can express your preferences. Capitalized terms used in this Cookie Policy but not defined have the meaning set forth in our Privacy Policy, which includes additional details about the collection and use of personal data at Spekit.
Does Spekit use Cookies?
Yes. Spekit uses cookies and similar technologies like single-pixel gifs and web beacons (“Cookies”). Spekit sets and accesses our own cookies on the domains operated by Spekit and its corporate affiliates (collectively, “Sites”). In addition, we may use Cookies set by third parties through our Sites, like Google Analytics and advertising partners.
How is Spekit using cookies?
We use Cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit and use our Sites, to remember your preferences, analyze trends, learn about our user base, provide relevant advertising, and operate and improve our Sites. For example, we may use Cookies to track navigation habits, measure performance, customize the user experiences, and for security. We may supplement the information we collect from you with information received from third parties, including information collected using third party Cookies.
What kinds of Cookies does Spekit use?
Spekit uses the following types of cookies:
- Essential Cookies. Essential Cookies are required for providing you with features or services that you have requested. For example, certain Cookies enable you to log into secure areas of our Services. Disabling these Cookies may make certain features and services unavailable.
- Functional Cookies. Functional Cookies are used to record your choices and settings regarding our Services, maintain your preferences over time and recognize you when you return to our Services. These Cookies help us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).
- Performance/Analytical Cookies. Performance/Analytical Cookies allow us to understand how visitors use our Services such as by collecting information about the number of visitors to the Services, what pages visitors view on our Services and how long visitors are viewing pages on the Services. For example, we use cookies in connection with analytics services both on Spekit’s website and application.
- Behavioral Advertising/Third Party Cookies. Behavioral Advertising/Third Party Cookies are used to provide tailored advertising to you when you subsequently visit other websites.
What can you do if you don’t want cookies to be set or want them to be removed, or if you want to opt out of interest-based targeting?
Some people prefer not to allow Cookies, which is why most browsers give you the ability to manage Cookies to suit you. In some browsers you can set up rules to manage cookies on a site-by-site basis, giving you more fine-grained control over your privacy. What this means is that you can disallow Cookies from all sites except those that you trust.
Browser manufacturers provide help pages relating to cookie management in their products. Please see below for more information.
- Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari (Desktop)
- Safari (Mobile)
- Android Browser
- Opera
- Opera Mobile
For other browsers, please consult the documentation that your browser manufacturer provides.
You can opt out of interest-based targeting provided by participating ad servers through the Digital Advertising Alliance (http://optout.aboutads.info/). In addition, on your iPhone, iPad or Android, you can change your device settings to control whether you see online interest-based ads.
If you limit the ability of websites and applications to set Cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience and/or lose the ability to access the services, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings, like login information.
Do Not Track: Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. Not all browsers offer a Do Not Track option and there is currently no industry consensus as to what constitutes a Do Not Track signal. For these reasons, our Sites, like many web service site operators, do not support Do Not Track requests at this time. To find out more about Do Not Track, you can visit www.allaboutdnt.com.
Third Party Cookies: In addition to managing Cookies through the methods described above, you can also opt out of certain third party Cookies. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how people use our Sites. Google provides tools to allow you to opt out of the use of certain information collected by Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most advertising networks also offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. If you would like to find out more information, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com.

We may need to change this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the Cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of Cookies. If you use the Sites after any changes to the Cookie Policy have been posted, then your use of the Sites is subject to the Cookie Policy in effect at the time.
